Markus Obermeier is an expert for industrial Additive Manufacturing and works as Business Development Manager for Siemens, the leading provider of integrated AM software and automation solutions. For almost three years, he and his team are successfully operating a CEAD AM Flexbot System in the Siemens Additive Manufacturing Experience Center (AMEC) in Erlangen, Germany. Furthermore, earlier this year he took over the responsibility for the Siemens Additive Manufacturing Hub in Munich and Siemens’ participation in the newly announced Bavarian Additive Manufacturing Cluster. Before joining the Siemens Additive Manufacturing Team in 2015, he has studied Mechanical Engineering in Erlangen and Regensburg.
